"BEWARE of this company in San Diego. They will tack on extra charges. Scheduled time of pick-up 1:45 pm /ariving san diego at 1:19 pm for curbside p/u for a fee of approx $67. My plane arrived 30 mins early and on my way to baggage claim, driver called and said she is at the baggage claim area waiting. So i meet her and get my bag, get in car (around 1:20 pm- I was suppose to be p/u curbside but now the driver has to pay for parking) and go to my destination. So when i get my bill i am charged $95.48...they tacked on a waiting time fee of $13.75 + $8 parking fee + 10% tax. I called (they had zero balance on acct) then wrote an e-mail. Their response was that i had ordered the driver to meet me at baggage claim which is an outright lie and which i told them they were a rip-off company. The i get a response from them like this: From: '' <> To: William Mcclain Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2014 9:24 PM Subject: RE: Fw: Your Receipt: From Airport 22-May-14 (Thu) (RIDE #E32W5H) You need to"
Limo Service Response: "Mr. McClain, Mr. Rupp, I am sorry to see a rating of "1" with your unsatisfactory experience. We are a top rated limos.com affiliate with years of experience, a great customer service record and a strong reputation and it pains me to read this. I researched your reservation. 1) We monitor all flights and ensure the scheduled pick-up time is when the plane actually arrives. Yours came in early and you would have to sit at the curb and wait till 1:45pm. Or your plane could have been delayed and we would have no recourse but to bill you our wait time if the 1:45 pick-up time was firm. This method of monitoring the actual flight arrival is common practice in this industry and in the client's best interest. 2) Curbside pick-up - yes that was your request and the chauffeur mistakenly went into baggage claim to be of assistance. 3) Fees - Our fees are based on our agreement with limos.com and billed according to chauffeur reported time and charges. Tax is standard and there is an airport fee for all San Diego pick-ups, but the actual parking charge and wait time will be rectified. Regards, Mike Emerson, COO "

"Due to a very bad experience with United Airlines which cancelled our flight to Hawaii at the last minute almost ruining our vacation, we had to scramble and get everything reorganized. This included getting a last minute transportation set up to take us from San Diego area to Orange County JW Airport to catch a new flight out to Hawaii. Not only did the limo service make it happen but the experience was great. Our Driver was very professional, helpful, friendly and made a rough time very pleasant. He knew where to go, how to get there, and made sure we got there with enough time to spare so we didn't have to mad dash through the airport. This service is A++ in our opinion."

"The driver was on time but didn't know where she was going. She was asking my husband for directions. That is not acceptable. My son was the passenger. He was taken to the wrong location. Both the driver and my son realized the mistake rather quickly and he was eventually taken to the right location. This should not have been an issue at all. I was not happy about this."

I agree that finding the right drop-off location (or pick-up location) should not be a problem when provided with a correct address. While your drop-off location was in a maze of buildings in Balboa Park, our chauffeur should have been better prepared for this ride. "We had in writing on our quote that we would be picked up in a Cadillac Escalade which included WiFi and refreshments. Instead we were picked up in a completely different vehicle with no WiFi and two small bottles of water for four people. The car was very unclean , and the driver was erratic/swerving on the road. We not only feel like we have been ripped off, but it was very disappointing to think you are paying for a Cadillac Escalade which had been quoted in writing during communication with this company ,and instead being picked up in an inferior vehicle. Will never use this company again"

I researched your reservation and discovered. 1) Cadillac SUV requested - unfortunately our Cadillac Escalade was not available and we substituted with a same year, same color and amenities GMC Yukon Denali. Per limos.com agreement "Substitutions: While we work to ensure that the vehicle and amenities shown are available, we cannot guarantee they will be in service for your limo rental and the limo company may substitute a similar vehicle for your service." 2) WiFi and refreshments - we do not have and do not advertise WiFi or refreshments. We do have complimentary bottled water in all our vehicles. 3) Vehicle was unclean and driver was erratic - we clean our vehicles inside and out on a regular schedule. We hire professional chauffeurs whose job is to provide safe and reliable service. Mr. Mackay, I am sorry you did not feel that your experience did not meet your expectations. "I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to the Midnight Express drivers and dispatch for helping me out in a HUGE way today!! My drive was on time, and my trip LAX was great - a great guy and smooth ride. But I screwed up and left my passport at home, which I didn't realize until check in. I called my driver, who had left already, but he quickly arranged with despatch to get another driver out to my house to get my passport and courier it to me. The second driver got my passport to me in record time, and I was able to make my flight. It was an important international flight, and I made it to check-in with 2 minutes to spare. I can't thank you enough for your outstanding commitment to customer service, your responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond! You saved the day, and I am sincerely grateful."

"I recently reserved one of your stretch limos on Saturday 9/24/11 for my sister's bachelorette party. We just wanted management to know how wonderful our experience was. We had a great time but more so we were very impressed with our driver Rick. He was very respectful, professional, a gentlemen and very sweet. He made us feel safe while we did our bar hopping to the bars downtown & by the beaches. Having a large party of girls it was nice to feel like someone was keeping an eye on us while we had our fun. He always made sure our ice was fresh & made sure we had what we needed. He was quick to open our doors & let us in the truck as we needed to get in & out of it for our belongings nonstop. Anytime we called him, he was there within minutes. We just wanted to thank you for giving us Rick as our driver. We will definetely be referring our friends & family to your service and will be requesting Rick for our next girls night out. We have rented limos before & our experience was not always that pleasant (we are by no means high maintenance either) so it was soooo nice that this one went so smoothly."
