"I’m really not sure where to begin. I guess I should start by saying if you don’t read any further that this, please rent from this company only if you want the most embarrassing piece of rolling garbage imaginable. Starters. I had planned a surprise birthday party for my wife. I was going to have over twenty of her closest friends meet up, they were going to have the limo drive to our house, surprise my wife, go to dinner at a four star restaurant in an exclusive area, then out for drinks and dancing. Perfect. I sent the company an email about 4 weeks in advance, with the date and location. Shortly after, I received the confirmation and cost. No problems. A couple of other emails back and forth, still no issues. The day of the pickup, I was called, telling me that there was a problem with the 24 person bus I had rented, but if they couldn’t get it fixed in time, which they DIDN’T think would happen, they had a 25 person BUS as a backup. I was a little freaked out, but again, I got a call, they said it was under control, no problem. Evening comes. I am at home with my wife, waiting on her friends to show. The couple that was supposed to help me fool my wife arrives. I should have known something was wrong then when they came into the house, laughing. It’s difficult to even describe what I found when I walked out to my driveway. There sat a recreational vehicle, circa 1980’s. A crappy Winnebago. It was faded, rusted, and had pieces missing from a quarter panel. On the front panel, which had also apparently fallen off, there was a piece of plywood screwed in and spray painted blue. The interior…..smelled. Bad. It had three different colored seats. There was a stripper pole mounted towards the front, but we later came to the conclusion that this was just put in to hold the roof up. At one point this thing must have been used for some type of camping party, because there were old packages and cans of food in the cabinets. Yes, we checked the dates. After speaking (READ YELLING) at the owner on the phone, he pretty much told me I had two choices; take it or leave it. Sorry. Unfortunately, at this point, I was screwed. We both knew it. It was too late to do anything else. Our evening in the Rolling Turd (this is what my friends christened it) was quite eventful. No one could comfortably sit in the rear. The shocks were so bad they actually bounced out of their seats. The front seats weren’t much better. The disco lights above the stripper pole made your eyes water. The looks and laughs from passersby was priceless. One person said “You actually PAID for that piece of crap?! “ Another one just had to have his picture taken inside of it, because he said his friends would never believe it. Did I leave out the part where the side door flew open while we were driving? Talking with our friends the next day, several of them mentioned that they had seen this THING going through the neighborhood, but they all assumed it must be going somewhere else. That could no way be what we were supposed to be driving that night. One woman was convinced that this was just an elaborate joke that I was playing on everyone. She said there was no way that any real business would actually rent that thing out. I must say, I agree. "
Limo Service Response: "First thing I did call first thing that morning when it became apparent that the specific vehicle reserved would not be fixed in time for his event. I at that point tried to explain what vehicle would be coming in its place. The client seemed to accept my description as an acceptable replacement. What I sent is not from the 1980's and is a converted RV. There is nothing wrong with the suspension, if the disco lights bothered them why didn't they either ask for them to be turned of or simply tun them off. This vehicle is called the tailgater and is perfect for Concerts and sporting events. It also does lots of nights out. I did give him an out when I called and advised that the other style coach was not starting. Hind sight being 20/20 I should have given his money back at that point and advised him I could not service him. I thought it was simply a night out. I didn't know that he replacement vehicle was not up to his standards. Many many other people love that vehicle. As far as the food in the cupboard it is a cupboard and what is he doing going through them it is used for camping trips and overnight trips it is a RV party coach aptly named the Tailgater. I offered him a complete refund if he did not wish to utilize the replacement vehicle (Before it came and after) I am sorry he did not like the vehicle and am also sorry he had to threaten bodily harm to the driver. The driver was generous and did not have him arrested and allowed the night to proceed. Our policy is there is no second chance when clients threaten to injure the driver he is instructed to proceed to the nearest police station and have the belligerent party removed and or arrested. The night continued and the rest of his group seemed to have a swell time. At no time was this party broken down at no time were we late at no time was this group in any danger this is simply a case of a replacement vehicle that the client had every opportunity to decline or ask for photos and failed to do so. Not meeting the standards of the client. I as I said offered to refund his money and allow him to find another vehicle he chose to accept the vehicle and chose to utilize the services. I do not know what else I can say of do at this point. I am now official offering a deep discount for the next time services are needed for this client. I do not feel any refund is due the vehicle they requested is rated at $122.55 hr all inclusive the one they got is rated at $161.25 hr. It was not a downgrade just a different style. It is even available to be seen on limos.com."

"2/4/11 YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY INSANE IF YOU RENT A LIMO FROM THIS LYING, POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS OWNER... I rented an escalade limo for 2/11/11. Paid almost 700 dollars in advance. Called the company up the morning of to confirm my services. Limo was supposed to pick myself and almost 20 guests at 1030pm, I recieved a phone call stating " The LIMO BROKE DOWN A MILE FROM YOUR HOUSE". Sorry, we cant help you, Ill give you a refund." I was stranded with 20 guests and no limo. Owner says sorry we cant help you. Well the limo was broken down for sure, dirty windows and all. I have been trying to the past month to get my refund back, every weeks its a different excuse and lie. I was told for sure I would have my refund back on 3/3/11, called 3/4/11 and was sorry call me back on Monday, Im not in front of my desk. Owner will lie and make like he doesnt know who you are. I told him I will see him in court his respone "Have fun." This is the worst business owner I have ever came across, he will steal your money just like he did mine." Dont be fooled like me, go somewhere else as fast as you can!!!!!! I will see him in court and will get my money back. He is a thief...check all the other reviews..same issues."

"Hey! I rented the party bus for my 21st birthday on 8th January, 2011. I had a BAWL!!!! Everything went smoothly!!!! I must admit after reading the reviews online i was a bit nervous, but DAMN the prices are so good! So i decided to give the benefit of the doubt! It came 10 mins early. The bus driver Scott was super nice! He never complained about the noise level which i must say was EXTREMELY loud! My crowd was very wild, Scott if u read this SORRY hahaha!! Dealing with loud drunk people is never easy but he stayed very professional and friendly throughout the night! Everyone on the bus had a blast! the bus was exactly like the picture on the website, and very clean!! There were no surprise charges, everything was exactly how we discussed prior to the event. He dropped us off on time and didn't rush us off. I stayed back with a few friends to try and tidy up the bus, but Scott told us no worries they will do it! Highly recommended!!!! Thanks for a night to remember!"

"This limo service deserves ZERO stars. where to start..... The bus looked NOTHING like the pictures, VISIBLY dirty windows and mirrows. no toilet paper on the roll. no water, ice or cups, all of which were promised. The driver SWORE at us multiple times , and i quote "Close the F***ING DOOR". Stopped at a rest stop on our way to boston to get gas, asked US for toll money. claimed we would be charged $400 for a dirty bus (cups, beer bottles ect) but said we werent aloud to clean it...? GOT ARRESTED BY MY SCHOOLS CAMPUS POLICE for having a SUSPENDED LICENSE AND A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST! when asked for a refund they refused. Also thoe owner sent my mother VERY RUDE emails, bashing me and my friends, saying "we werent the angels she thinks we are" We have MULTIPLE pictures from when we were on the bus PROVING we did nothing unrational or out of control as a graduating senior in college with a degree in business let me tell you this is NO WAY to run a business!! "

"Worst experience ever. I would not even recommend this company to my worst enemy. I have been trying to get my deposit back, and I have been getting the run around. The limousine service they provided had no AC and no one even gave us a call. We canceled the service and had to adjust our plans last minute. Till now the owner would not acknowledge our conversation and still would not give the deposit back. Lesson learn do not use their service it will save you the stress/headache."

"Terrible, unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest. Arrived almost an hr after schedule pick up time w/ no courtesy call (we already left w/ another service). Over a month later, after numerous calls and emails w/ owner's further assurance of refund, we are taking care of it ourselves. The last call w/ owner ended after he said it was his day off and he didn't have to and didn't want to take care of it. Please do not be lured in by less expensive rate, pay more to actually get service. Ridiculous!"

"I haven't booked with Southern New England Limo. A phone conversation was enough to turn me away. I called the company after I had received a better quote from another company to offer them a chance to better their deal and win my business. First off, the person I spoke with admitted outright that they charge significantly more for weddings without offering any additional service! This is outrageous. Every other company I have looked into provides additional service for a wedding, such as a uniformed chauffeur, red carpet, champagne, etc. On top of it all, the limo wasn't even for the bride and groom, but for the family. Other companies I got quotes from said they would consider this a night-on-the-town booking. In addition to the sketchy pricing scheme, the person I spoke with accused me of lying about the occasion in order to get a better deal! Would I choose rude and overpriced over polite and a good value! Hell no. Thanks for trying, SNE Limo, better luck next time. "
Limo Service Response: "This potential client was intentionally misleading me. I caught on and she was offended. Lady you cant be a liar and offended at the same time. She was requesting standard rates and then complained that Weddings cost more. Wedding cost more simply because of supply and demand. My drivers always dress formally, and all my limo's have red carpets. I also provide champagne when requested. The only reason Weddings cost more is due to a greater demand and need for weddings. She was not happy with the truth. I was a little short with her when she became belligerent I simply wanted to get off the phone. Customers please be honest in your request and don't try to tarnish somebody who calls you on your dishonest attempt at a better rate. PS She never told me that it was for non wedding party members. If she had it would have cost less. "

"I was very impressed with Scott and Southern New England limo. I ordered the Cadillac Deville limo, but since he had it available, he sent the more expensive Escalade instead. It made for a very exciting night to head down to the casino. A cooler bay full of ice would be the only improvement I could suggest. For the price, I won't go anywhere else!"

"My wife & I recently attented an Iron Maiden concert @ the Comcast Center (Tweeter center). The limo showed up on time (actually early), so we had plenty of time to do some tailgating before the show. The chauffeur was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We had a great time & Southern NE Limo came thru for us with great service & very reasonable rates! We will be using SNE Limo again, that's for sure. "
