"I recently booked a limo to take a group of my friends and I cruising around for a couple of hours for a ladies night. The set up and reservation was easy and the owner was accomodating. However, our ride was not what we had hoped for when the AC failed to cool in the think of summer time in Texas. Although the driver did his best to correct the problem, he could not and we were a sweaty mess when we arrived at our final destination. In addition, the 2 bottles of champaign we ordered were not cold. Lastly, the driver complained when I wanted to add an additional gratuity via my credit card instead of cash. This was in addition to the "gratuity included" rental fee even though the ride was miserable. The owner's argument was that nobody had ever complained about the temperature before, so there must not actually be a problem. Finally offered to discount the ride by $25. I also removed the extra tip. This company clearly does not value customer satisfaction. I paid over $200 for two hours of discomfort, and nobody seemed to be bothered by this. I would not recommend this company for any type of rental or limo service."
Limo Service Response: "It is our policy not to “Kiss & Tell”. What goes on in our limousines stays in our limousines but since Ms Davis has chosen to slander my company in a public forum I will list the facts of this particular limousine run. Limousine Run Facts: 1) 3 hour 6 passenger limousine rental with a party package 2) Additional bottle of champagne thrown in for free (total of 2 bottles) 3) Run was from 4PM – 6PM from a home address as directed to a movie theater 4) 4 ladies were riding in the limousine 5) It was quoted through limos.com which is a bid war for the job 6) The run wound up being a little over 2 hours 7) The 2 bottles of champagne were consumed 8) The limousine was running over an hour before they were picked up to make sure it was cool 9) The back of the limo needed an extensive cleaning as Chinese food had been consumed & spilled Client Facts 1) Ms Davis didn’t call in to complain, she only complained the next day after we called her because her credit card was declined. 2) When she stated that the AC didn’t cool I said we would have the AC checked and get back with her. This wasn’t good enough so I offered her a $25 discount to appease her and she would have received a free ride if the AC was not working. 3) The Limousine was taken to Scotts Auto Repair on Greens Road where the AC was checked & was blowing 51 degrees (in the back) well within specification. 4) Ms Davis told the chauffeur she wanted to give him an additional tip of $25 and asked if he wanted cash or if she should put it on the credit card. He replied cash would be great because no taxes were taken out. He was grateful & didn’t complain, he explained. 5) After she was given the $25 discount she took the drivers additional tip back. 6) This complaint letter is the first I’m hearing of the champagne problem & the champagne bottles were pulled from a refrigerator and put on ice & when the vehicle arrived the ice was not melted! There have been no complaints about this limousine’s ability to cool from any client before this run or the 3 it’s been on since. Please read the facts & come to your own conclusion. "

" We used your service from the Sheraton North Houston, to the Galveston Cruise Dock on Dec 30th with Mike as our driver. We returned on Jan. 6th, again with Mike. Your reservations staff were very helpful and friendly. Mike, our driver, went out of his way to describe everything we asked him about our trip both ways. He is a real credit to your organization and we will certainly use your company in the future and recommend you to our friends that are traveling to Houston. Thanks especially to Mike.
