From the first contact I had with you, I was impressed with your professionalism and thoroughness. Since 2 families (9 people) were traveling together, visiting multiple cities in central Mexico, I thought it would be better to have a driver and van, rather than rely on public transportation. It was the BEST decision we could have made. It greatly minimized the stress of how to get around. And it provided us with so many more options than we would have had if we had relied on taxis and buses. I was impressed by how you kept in touch with us by email as the date of our trip approached, even calling me a few days before to confirm details. You even sent a photo of the exact spot to meet our driver at the Mexico airport so as to avoid any confusion. Your attention to the details made it a stress-free arrangement that provided our families with a wonderful experience. But the greatest benefit was that not only did you provide us with a safety-conscious, competent driver and a reliable vehicle, but you chose a driver who is a gifted, talented and knowledgeable tour guide! "Nacho" was the perfect choice for our families. He was personable and friendly; EXTREMELY knowledgeable in history, culture, area attractions, etc; and willing to do anything and everything to accommodate our every desire. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 5 teens. Nacho helped us tremendously in formulating an itinerary, with a mix that pleased both the adults as well as the teens. He was flexible and good natured at all times. He helped balance the history, culture and sightseeing with "fun" so as to keep the kids engaged. Nacho is extremely knowledgeable in the history, political development and culture of Mexico. He knew very well the cities and sights we visited (Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Teotihuacan and Mexico City). He was less familiar with the hot springs you had mentioned -"Grutas Tolantongo" - but took the time to research it overnight and returned the next day with everything we might need to know about it. The hot spring cave with waterfalls and pools in the state of Hidalgo ended up being the kids favorite day of the trip...thank you for the suggestion! I can't tell you how much we appreciated his willingness to accommodate us. For example, we had heard that the Cinepolis Theaters have a "VIP" Theater with reclining seats, and waiters. He searched all around in order to accommodate our desire to experience this unique concept. I could tell that his intention was to please us no matter what. He was even familiar with the best place to get rotisserie chickens; and took us to his favorite neighborhood taco restaurant - great food and a real slice of an authentic mexican experience. I have been studying Spanish for the past 2 years, but very intimidated when it comes to "speaking". Nacho encouraged me to practice my spanish with him. Because of his patience and gentle corrections, I felt I made more progress speaking spanish with him in one week, than I had in a whole year in a classroom. I'm very grateful for his encouragement!
