"We called Butler for a night on the town. The first vehicle they send the trunk didn't close. There called the company and the owner drove personally to my home to bring me a New Cadillac SUV. Thanks we will refer to all of our friends."
"THIS COMPANY WAS HORRIBLE!!! Do not use this company if you want to enjoy your wedding day.
We paid a lot to make our day memorable and special and had I known this company was so unreliable, my mother and I would not have reserved the service. My wedding was on June 20, 2009 and we ordered limo service from Butler. The driver was an hour late to pick me up, and as a result, not only was I late to my own wedding, but he caused me and my bridal party stress and deprived us of the opportunity to actually enjoy the limo before the wedding and ride around before hand for some time as planned. I was staying at the Claremont Resort/Hotel, a landmark of Berkeley, and the driver had the nerve to tell me that he was late because he got lost. Not only is the Claremont huge and difficult to miss, but it is the only hotel in the area. There is no way that he could have missed it and been lost for a full hour. In addition, I gave the company my cell phone and two bridesmaids cell phone numbers and he did not call any of us. He claims he called my house phone, but he should not have had that number because I told them I would not be there, yet they wanted the number on file. If he did not find anyone at that number, he should have called
the cell phones. Then he attempted to take a short cut, even though the church was literally 2 freeway exits away and not far at all and got lost again. From the back we had to direct him. He should have had a gps, a map, or some understanding of the area. I should have been allowed to relax for the measly five minutes I was in the limo before the wedding.
Then, AS I HAD IN WRITING, they stated that there would be champagne and sodas in the limo for us to drink. There was nothing in the limo and the driver said that no one told him to chill anything or place it in the limo. That is absurd and unacceptable. My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying a glass of champagne to toast each other before going to the reception.
We traveled a whole five minutes to our reception and he dropped me off in a huge wedding dress at the foot of Dunsmuir and left me to walk to the reception site with my guests even though I told him we were allowed to drive all the way up and it was prearranged. He refused, stating he didn't want to have to back out of the drive way and that he was worried he wouldn't fit, even though he clearly fit without problem and people offered to open the gate further. He was a jackass, despite my being very nice and calm under the circumstances (for my own benefit, so not to ruin my own big day). I had to ask my parents for a ride in their small car, packing myself in with a full car (2 aunts, mother and father and all their things) and crumple my dress, so I didn't have to walk snagging the dress on the long driveway and walk in with all the guests.
All in all I had a total of 10 minutes of TERRIBLE service for a whopping cost of $250. I did not get to enjoy the limo at all and in fact it was such a terrible experience it almost made me cry as I had no internet service, no way to get a hold of them and none of my wedding party had a car at the Claremont.
And they refuse to respond to my email regarding this terrible experience."
