"Never, ever use Paramount "Limousine" Service. It was an absolutely horrible experience! I reserved transportation with Paramount for an LAX pick up to take me home after a flight. I waited curb-side, as directed, for well over an hour. About 15 minutes after they were supposed to arrive (but almost 30 minutes after my flight landed, since it arrived early), I realized that the contact information provided by Paramount in the limos.com confirmation email was incorrect. I found the company phone number, called 4 times and an answering machine picked up. When I called the 5th time, a man with a very strong accent answered and said curtly that a driver was on his way and would be calling me momentarily. 10 minutes later when I received no call, I called him back. Again, he assured me a driver would be calling and would be there soon. This happened a 3rd time and at that juncture, I was quite irate, since it was 11 pm, an hour and 15 minutes after my cross country flight had landed, etc. He assured me, AGAIN, a driver would be calling.
Finally, a driver did indeed call and about 10 minutes later, he showed up, only to have no idea of my name, reservation, where I was going, etc. When I shared that I was confused and frustrated with the company, service, etc., he stated that he had only been dispatched 7-8 minutes prior, had never heard of Paramount Limo and that he was from Uber. I was then absolutely livid, made him drop me off at a different terminal and I called the Paramount "dispatch" person. He told me that the Uber driver was sent by them, so then I waited for the driver to circle the entire airport, pick me up again...only to have him speed down the freeway (upwards of 85 miles an hour), while texting on his phone, inputting my address into GPS...all while speeding. It was the worst private transportation experience of my life. If you care about service, reliability, SAFETY, etc - do not consider Paramount as a service provider."
