"I wanted to send a note to comment on the service that I received from your company. Yesterday I received a phone call from a friend who was in a bind. A situation arose where she was stranded in Key West and needed to get to Miami the next day for a flight home. In an attempt to help her out I started to search for a ride for her, and thankfully your company was the first one that I called. You had given me a quote, and then also offered alternatives for transportation if we were looking for a less expensive option. Not only did you give me the alternative, but you also provided me with phone numbers so that I could easily call. After calling those numbers, I had decided that we would like to use your company. Unfortunately when I called back and you were able to check your schedule you found that you would not have time to make that trip. At this time you had also inquired if I was able to call the other services and I explained that one was not able to accommodate, and the other was a bit more expensive. So what did you do? You gave me two more phone numbers to try. The service did not end there either. You also informed me of a good hotel that you would recommend for the overnight stay in Miami. I am please to say that we were able to secure a ride with one of the companies that you had suggested, and she safely made it to Miami. I cannot thank you enough for your help in this situation. In today's society and business world, you do not find many people that would go out of there way as you did to ensure that a customer was being treated correctly and satisfied. I know that the situation was stressful for her at the time, and I felt a little helpless being many miles away and only being able to use the internet and the phone to help her out. You gave me a feeling of comfort and were able to diffuse the situation by going out of your way and taking care of the customer....even if it did not mean business for you at the time. I too work in the customer service arena, and I will tell this story repeatedly to my staff as well as others who are willing to listen. You are an excellent example of true customer service, and one that I know that many others can learn from. Thank you again for all of your help, and most of all for being who you are. If I ever need car service in that area or if I hear of anyone else that does, I will most certainly recommend you company. You are truly an asset to the industry."
