"Last week I flew to Fort Lauderdale for a training course. I was informed to contact Charles when I land for transportation. As I was walking to get my luggage Charles from Jewel Limo called me. He said "I see you just landed, come outside and go to the right and I will be there. I came outside and he was waiting, twenty of us were traveling together. Some were there some were not, he sent the one that were away in the bus and had another car right behind to pick up the late arrivals. Needless to say Jewel limo was there all weekend, right on time, courteous, and extremely organized. This company makes you feel good about choosing Jewel Limo. The best I have ever hired. "My experience with this limousine company was not positive at all. They did not show up. I had 26 people to transport to a party---and they left me stuck. When I called---there was nothing they could do about it. They did offer to send a bus to retrieve my party--I said I would let them know. I called them to tell them not to come and they charged me a cancellation fee of $276. I refuted the charge and they removed it---but to even think of charging someone a cancellation after you screw up a big event for them is not decent business practices. I would not even rate them one star but this website makes you at least give them one star minimum. They were a real zero. I would not use them."
Limo Service Response: "As stated by customer, she called to cancel the job while driver was on the way to the Restaurant to pick up the party with no prior notice . As per contract, we are entitled to the full charge for the last minute cancellation. We did not charge her card. As customary temporary authorization was made on her card subject to the completion of the job when the card will then be fully charged. This was fully explain to customer. "
