"Absolutely terrible. If you plan on booking with this company, be prepared for the chance that the driver will ditch you at your first stop. It's ok though, because they will send an undersized substitute limo without all of your original stuff in it (which inevitably couldn't fit all of us). The driver will blame the manager, the manager will blame the driver, and the next day when you call for your refund they will be completely unresponsive. Maybe it was just a one-time thing with the company, but I personally would never book through them again. It's one thing to screw up, but another entirely to not respond to our complaints. This is supposed to be a service industry. We only had 2 wineries planned on our trip, but we could only make it to one since we spent like 3 hours there. PICK ANOTHER LIMO COMPANY"

"Absolutely beyond unacceptable experience. DO NOT use this limo company. Please see below for a recap of our experience. The reservation was supposed to commence at 1 pm, the driver did not arrive until 1:20. Upon dropping us off at our first stop, Marcos (driver) and I agreed that we would meet back at the drop-off location at 2:45. He gave me is cell phone number and said to call him if there was a problem. Since our tasting room was in the basement of the winery, I did not have any cell phone service. By the time we finished the tasting and rounded up the group, it was 3:15. I called Marcos to notify him that we were ready to go and learned that he was no longer in the parking lot, that he had to go to the "mechanic". There are three things wrong with the fact that he had taken the limo to the mechanic. 1. Our agreement was clear. We were paying you to provide limo services for 4 hours. As in, the limo was intended to be for hire and at our disposal for the entire four hours. 2. I agree that we were a half hour late and that I was not able to be reached, however, I was in no way notified that we were under any sort of time constraint. 3. All of our personal belongings were in the vehicle. Marcos did not make us aware that we would not access to them for the next 4 hours. After finally getting a hold of you and attempting to grasp the situation, you notified me that another limo would be coming to take us to our second stop. We had brought food and drinks for the day and left them in our original limo. Our original reservation at the second vineyard was at 3:30 pm. The second limo did not arrive at the vineyard until 4:45 pm. The second vineyard was 45 minutes away and it closed at 6 pm. The driver sent was completely unaware of the situation. They sent a 10 person limo for 16 people, when the limo we paid for seated 20. Not only is that unsafe, but it is illegal. The driver was unable to get in touch with Shawn, the "sales associate". He told us we had no other choice than to literally pile in on top of each other, because our original limo was going to the other vineyard to pick us up. However, there is a reason why the limo is intended to seat 10. The bottom of the limo was scraping the ground in the parking lot. I am not exaggerating, it was actually scraping the ground. The driver and I agreed that the car was not going to work. After mobilizing the group, yet again, we waited. Marcos arrived to pick us up at 6:21. Our original reservation called for a drop-off in Arlington at 5 pm. Marcos was kind enough to inform me that none of this was his fault and that it would be in his best interest to let this go and not bring it up with the company. He drove us around for 2 hours and believed that compensated for the absurdity of the situation. This was also conveniently 4 hours after he had already requested that I give him his tip up front and in cash. He would not return the tip to us, but that was a moot point given that you agreed to reimburse me. Once again, completely unacceptable. Still waiting to hear back from the company about our refund. Going to go through my credit card company to refute the charge if we do not hear back within the next 24 hours. "

"Bottom line up front: Recommend having a Plan B. A confirmed reservation with City Limos, does not necessarily mean they will meet it. In addition the customer service in trying to resolve an issue is much less than helpful = essentially worthless and misleading. Details: I reserved a limo with City Limo through their website on April 16, 2013 (which by the way is not protected w/ SSL encryption --- FYI) after having several questions answered by Shawn - a reservation agent. I reserved the service for April 26, 2013. At the time of the reservation, I paid in full. I was informed by e-mail on April 24, 2013 at 12:09 PM that City Limo had cancelled the reservation with the following reason: "we cannot complete your reservation due to service issues with limo . We have fully refunded the reservation amount." I attempted several times to call, e-mail company reps throughout the day, leaving messages, etc. to get a better explanation. I did not receive return messages or calls on the 24th. I continued trying to reach a "human" through e-mail/phone on the 25th (one day prior to our scheduled event). I finally reached someone on the 25th at about noon - (note I had to call from a number not associated w/ my reservation). When I spoke to the rep, he stated "sorry about that, I will work it out and give you a call back w/in an hour". I am still waiting for that call by the way...... Moving forward, I e-mailed them yet again at about 3 PM that day, to which I finally received a written response from them, quote: "it has been fully refunded we are not in the richmond we are in the DC area we are 3 hours from there. Its better to contact a company in your area." Understand I only booked through City because they showed up as an available provider for services using the Zip Code I reside in. They accepted the reservation, the money, only then to cancel it because it was "too far" less than 48 hours prior to our event. "

"If i could rate this company lower than terrible would. First off, the company got the price incorrect in the beginning when I had asked for a quote when I specifically told them where we were going and for how long, so they had to give us a "discount". They told us we had to be at the pick-up location 15 minutes early so that they could get my credit card information from me so we could leave on time, which was 7 pm. The driver didn't even show up until 7:45 and was VERY rude. He didn't help anyone in or out of the limo, which was very high up and a lot of us were wearing heels and dresses. This was supposed to be for my 21st birthday and this company was the worst one I could have chosen. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you want to have a horrible experience! Don't even think about complaining to the company either, all they do is give you excuses why they won't give you a discount becuase their driver was late and so rude. "

"The party bus rolled up to our starting location and my first thought was, "NO.WAY." It was so sick! I couldn't believe how amazing the bus was. We drove from the suburbs to the city (lots of highways, slowing down, speeding up) and the driver was great, couldn't feel it at all. The bar was a good size and plenty of cups on board. The TV in the back was awesome (if you can't tell, the actual bus amazed me) and I loved that it was playing music videos while we were drinking. Great stereo system. Great interior, great bar, great driver. Took us wherever we wanted and chilled while we went into the club. Should have just stayed in the bus because it was like a club and we were able to fit about 25 of us in there. Stripper pole was an added bonus. Would 100% use them again!"

"A great reliable service. On my most recent trip to the Airport, I needed something I could depend on so I could make my 7am flight. I read about this service on Limos.com and thought I'd give it a try. I called the Limo service a day ahead, told them what time and place they should pick me up, they quoted me a price, and it was simple as that. The cost was around $60 from to the airport. It would have cost about the same for a taxi. The day of my departure, the driver arrived 15 minutes early, and called me to let me know that he was outside. I was running a little late, and he said it'd be ok. He then helped me with moving my luggage from the front steps to the car. It was a very clean and spacious car, the driver talked to me a bit on the way to the airport, which was nice. It was a very pleasant ride to the airport, and we got there within half an hour from leaving . Paid by credit card in the end, with the price that was quoted on the phone. Convenient service, and with friendly drivers, I'll definitely use their service again."

"WOW, I don't even know where to start. My experience with this company was beyond horrific. I booked a 20 passenger Lincoln Navigator for my daughter sweet sixteen party for 5 hours 2pm-7pm , 6 weeks prior to the event. To help everyone understand the severity, this was not just kids riding around in a limo. This was very special event similar to a wedding. Ladies were in gowns, men in tux's. On the day of the event at the time of my pick up they tell me that they over booked and that the sent a bus to transport the party. Although upset i accepted the bus because i was stuck still needing transportation. The bus took us to church which was our first stop. 30 minutes later we exit the church to find ourselves stranded without transportation. YES THEY LEFT. The driver claimed that that he was dispatched to leave that the limo was coming to get us. 40 min later we were still standing there. I then had to call around to get friends to get up to take us to our other stops. We go to our next stop a park for the photo sessions and the limo company assures me that they will be there to pick us up. But that doesn't happen either. At this point i am beyond the point of upset, Im mad. It is now 5:30 and still no limo. At 6pm the wrong, filthy limo arrives, wrong because I reserved a white lincoln navigator and a white hummer arrives, filthy because it had half empty cups, bottles and trash all over the place. To make matters worse now after the event I have tried to contact City Limousines on numerous occasions now by phone and email and no one has responded to me. I was trying to resolve this without going to these extremes but have been left with no choice. My next step will be to take legal actions against them. "Would not recommend. Very bad customer service which ended up ruining a special night out. The vehicle was not the one we booked. I have made several attempts to collect on the promise of 'a free 3 hour limousine ride anytime NO SUVs limo only lincoln black stretch' (as the issues of the night were acknowledged) and he has refused to respond to email or return a phone call. I am out $500 for limo services that I did not receive for several hours of the night. Both the driver and limo owner were unreachable during those hours and we had to find our own means of transportation. Email to owner of Issue: Shawn, I am writing to voice my displeasure with the service last night. It did not meet my expectations from the very beginning and it was a distraction throughout the evening taking away from the celebration and true purpose of the night. The sheer number of calls to the driver and you last night is proof enough that the service was a distraction throughout the evening. There were over 30 calls from 11pm onward in attempts to schedule a pick up and find out where he was. Towards the end of our dinner we called the driver to arrange pick-up (11:10pm). After several attempts, we finally spoke with him and he said he would be there in 15 mins. After 45 minutes and not being able to reach him again, we took a cab to our next destination as we were extremely late. We finally heard from him one hour after the original pick-up call and he informed us he was outside of the restaurant(12:10am). Given the aggrevation and distraction it would have been easier and less expensive to just take cabs throughout the night. We specifically decided to spend more money for a limosince service to provide ease, comfort and style to our night. None of this was provided by a 23 passenger party vehicle with a driver that we could not easily contact. The vehicle was not comfortable, showed wear inside & out and was slow to move around the city and neighborhood streets. It was simply not what we arranged with you, and not appropriate for the evening that we planned. At this point I am sure you know my wife's opinion on how this affected her birthday celebration. That I am spending Mother's Day to address this issue is an added bonus. Please let me know how you will rectify this issue. "

"Here is my email to Shawn, never heard from them until I called from a different number other than the one I had used to book service. None of this was addressed, other than the added charge of $250 which he said he refunded, but Iam still to see it reflected in my account. Please keep in mind this company considered all of this to be professional, and when I mentioned that I should be fully refunded for such terrible service, Shawn got really upset and after yelling at me over the phone, he told me I could forget about it and hung up on me!. Very professional... If you book with them, be prepare for horrible service and mistreatment. I have NEVER requested full refund fir anything, I work in the service industry, so I understand things happen, but in this case, bride late to wedding, lies, and lack of response... It all adds up to $0 Or judge it yourself, here the email: Shawn, I contacted you Monday July 16th with multiple concerns regarding the service provided July 14th for which details are below. As I mentioned to you, on July 14th multiple things went wrong with the Limo service, as follows: 1) Once driver picked up bride on location and was on his way to the church, driver decides to pull over and request her the Credit Card used for payment, he needed an imprint of it. Bride in a weeding dress, informs him she does not have this, but if they got to the church the groom will more likely have it. He decides not to pull out and stays parked demanding this. He said he needed the card before dropping her off, please keep in mind she is on her way to get married!... After she asks him if he is going to drop her off on the middle of Fairfax and leave her there, he said he would take her to but he would not take her anywhere else without having the card. This delay made the bride late for her arrival to the church... (The need of the card was never mentioned when we contracted originally) Fortunately I was in possession of the card back at the church, and I had to step out from our event to provide him with this. 2) Driver presence/outfit, very unprofessional for a limo driver, he was wearing black with a white logo tennis shoes, shirt was not press, and half way untucked. He did not open the door for the bride to come in or out of the car, nor he was very welcoming or happy to drive us around in such a special day. 3) Additional charges on card, one charge for $100 and another one for $150, when I talked to you Shawn, you mentioned this was due to "excessive cleaning" since Champagne had been spilled in the car, we did NOT consume any champagne in the vehicle, all we had was your courtesy water and left the bottles in the car, I cannot believe the lies, and the lack of professional behavior in this case. If to gathered 4 empty bottles of water from the car was going to cost $250, we would have taken them out with us. This is Unacceptable... Shawn, since our last conversation, you have not gotten back to us with a resolution to this matter, you promised a return call by Tuesday afternoon and we have yet to hear from you. We have been trying to reach you by phone but no answer, and when leaving a voicemail asking to please return our calls, we still do not hear back from anyone in your company. Bad customer service, lack of response, and lies, do not represent your company well, I am seeking to resolve this with you directly before going public with this, but it seems you are disregarding our concerns. Please do contact me as soon as possible, I am looking forward to hearing back from you, or anyone in your company willing to address our horrible experience on our wedding from your limo service. Thank you for your attention to this matter. End of email - Even after all attempts for me to not go public and seek a resolution, obviously I was unsuccesful to work with them. What a horrible experience on such an important day..."

"I hired City Limo a few weeks ago for my friend's Bachelorette Party. My first red flag came when I had difficulty getting in touch with the company over the phone. I wondered how organized a service might be that can't even answer the phone consistently. However, the price was right and I was trying to book on a budget. I was told by an employee over the phone that 8 hours would be sufficient to be picked up from Winchester, taken to DC, and brought back to Winchester by 4:00am. The driver ended up being almost an hour late (which I understood because the house we were staying at is pretty difficult to find) and was rude as soon as I met him. He acted as if it were our fault that he was late and then complained about the drop off location that we choose in DC. He then informed us that he didn't yet have the ice that we were promised and he needed to stop to pick some up. The limo itself was nice enough, basically what I expected. There were a few cracks in the windows but it was a good size and seemed clean. There were also glass champagne flutes provided in the limo which we learned quickly were pretty frail and broke very easily; we stopped using them after we broke 2. The driver reassured us that they were only $10 a piece and I of course agreed that I would pay for them. We finally arrived to our location almost 3 hours after our 8:00pm pick up time. The girls and I decided to only go to one location rather than the 2 we signed up for and told him to pick us up at 2:00am. We actually ended up calling him earlier and had him pick us up at 1:30am. After we got in the limo our driver informed us that he needed to stop to get gas. It seemed odd to me that he couldn't have gotten gas while we were in the club for the last 2 hours be we used that opportunity to pick up some drinks and use the bathroom. We slept the whole way home and arrived in Winchester well before the 4:00am drop-off time agreed upon in our contract. I cleaned out the limo as much as I could, thanked our driver, and tipped him 20% which I was told was customary. A week later I received two extra charges to my debit card. $50 for the glasses ($25 a piece, not $10) and $85 for going an hour over our time. Not only was I never even close to being an hour over but he was almost an hour late and wasted at least 30 minutes of our time getting ice and gas. I am rating this service with 2 stars for managing to get us home safe and providing us with a satisfactory limo. Other than that, there was nothing about this experience that I found easy or enjoyable. I will never use City Limo again nor will I ever recommend it to a friend. "
Limo Service Response: "We have dropoff time documented on reciept and two glasses were broken. when you rent a limo please read the full contract before you rent to understand the rules and regulations. We have her signed contract and signed reciept showing completion of the job and the dropp off time. So she was charged one hour overtime and for the broken glasses . its simple you rent a limo you agree to the terms and if you act foolish like children and not like adults you will be charged. She was satisfied and signed the recipt and even tip the driver $120 . clearly she was satisfied but she could not have thought that they can ride around past the drop off timeand brake two glasses and not be charged for it. Everyone that rents a limo should act like a adult and be responsible for thier actions weather its braking glasses or staying out later than the contracted time.
