"This was a pick up at airport on return from Australia. I knew this booking was for curbside pickup, which I prefer. I was not sure where the pickup would be and was traveling for 24 hrs with limited access to email to check for any details on the pickup. When we got to Newark airport I was going to call the customer service number and discovered our driver had already left me 2 voicemails.....GREAT!! I called him back and arranged where he would pick us up. He had the car we booked and we only waited about 5 minutes. "Before booking a ride I read a pile of online reviews to see if there was any one car company that stood above the others. What I found was an incredibly high number of disappointingly negative reviews for pretty well every limo service in the NY/NJ area which really made me very wary of picking ANY limo service. I ended up using an online booking service which arranged a pick-up with AV Limo. I won't lie, I was worried. We arrived in Newark a half hour early, and after collecting our baggage I called the company to confirm that there was still a driver coming, and the gentleman at the other end knew our pick-up as soon as I mentioned the location and time with no need to fumble for a reservation number. This was pleasant surprise number one. I told him our plane landed early and that I was only confirming that we would be met at the designated time. Instead he said that the driver would be there in 10 minutes. The driver was there in 10 minutes. Pleasant surprise number two. The driver was a nice young gentleman, well mannered, well turned out and very helpful. Pointed out some sights and interesting points as we made our way to the hotel. I found that his driving was appropriate for the traffic at the time which ensured we got to our destination in a timely manner. Pleasant surprise number three. Overall, our ride was a very good experience that I felt was well worth the money. The SUV was comfortable and clean, the drive was great, and we kept cool on a very hot day. Unfortunately I cannot remember the young man's name, but our pick-up was at 10:30am from Newark Liberty Terminal C on July 2nd 2012 going to the Millenium Hilton in Manhattan."
