"I used Shinning star twice last year for JFK-New Jersey and back. Everything was easy and driver was on time, friendly and VERY professional and kind. This year I booked them again for the same route, but I had to reschedule due to the illness of my kid. Dominic (I guess he is the owner) was not only very helpful, and changed everything quickly, no extra charge, but even wished me the best for my kid. I congratulate and HIGHKY recommend this service. I wish them all the best in their business."

"My sister and I needed a limo to take my Mom out to dinner to celebrate her 80th birthday and Shining Star Limo was the perfect choice! Our driver Fernando was timely, polite and an excellent driver. Dominic made the arrangements and everything was perfect! We recommend this company for limo needs and will be sure to use them again. "

"I called to cancel my limo because the passenger, my elderly Mom, became sick and could not attend the event we had hired this limo for. The gentleman who answered the telephone was rude, insulting and completely unaware of his company’s policy on cancellations. According to this person I was to pay full price for the limo. However according to the confirmation I received from Limo.com this was not the case. I tried to tell him this and he refused to listen. He claimed that I was sent, via e-mail, a confirmation from them directly. I never received it. So he sent me this confirmation while on the phone and it clearly stated that I did not have to pay the entire amount. Yet he continued his rude attitude and then began to inform me that he was the wrong person to talk to. I would have to speak to Limo.com and then his boss. In the end, I paid the proper cancellation fee which I had expected to pay, not the full amount like the rude man insisted upon. I’m also glad that my Mom did not use this service. Who knows how they would have tried to take advantage of an older women. As far as a recommendation, don’t use this company! "
Limo Service Response: "hi ..my name is dominic and i own a sining star limousine, after reviewing this complaint which i take seriously , i found out that mr .roig called on saturday to cancelled the reservation for sunday , on the weekends we have a call center that handles all our call's , so when mr.roig called he spoke with one of there service reps, i spoke with the call center today monday and after speaking with the manager i desided that with be best to end our business association , so this type of behaviour would never happen again..I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT I TREASURE ALL MY CUSTOMER'S AS THEY ARE THE BACK BONE OF MY LIVELYHOOD..as for mr.roig i have sent him a letter with my apologies and desided to refund him for the total amount...regrds dominic"

"For my daughter's wedding we used A Shining Star Limousine service provided by Dominic Lopes (President) and his drivers. I still have people commenting to me about their professionalism and how much they enjoyed all involved (especially the evening shuttle bus driver). The chauffer quality, service level, and value would be difficult, in my opinion, for anyone else to match. Thank you Dominic and crew for your help in making this day a truly memorable one for my daughter and calming a nervous father with your professionalism and friendliness. They really do make the extra effort."

"I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE SHINING STAR DRIVERS FOR GETTING US TO THE NYC PIER AND OUR RETURN HOME, SAFE AND SOUND. THE DRIVERS WERE BOTH VERY HELPFUL WITH THE LUGGAGE. THE DRIVER ON THE RETURN TRIP "MIKE" WAS EXCELLENT. HE DROVE VERY WELL IN THE POURING RAIN. HE WAS ASKED TO STOP AT A REST STOP FOR A BATHROOM BREAK AND HE GOT OUT OF THE VAN EACH TIME TO OPEN THE DOOR FOR US AT THE PIER HE LOADED THE CAR WITH OUR BAGS IN THE RAIN, WHILE WE WAITED IN THE VAN. WHEN WE GOT HOME HE DID BROUGHT MOST OF THE BAGS IN. THERE WERE 7 OF US AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL. THANK YOU. "

"Driver was rude, disrespectful, made an inappropriate comments regarding blondes to the lady who was a blonde. Took the long way home and charged us extra. Threatened to charge us more when we complained. Called company to complain got the same attitude. Won't use them again, do not recommend them. "
Limo Service Response: "ladies were no ladies they got really drunk to the point they were loud ruth and spilling wine all over the place had to get car detail payed over 250.00 to get it done and didnt charge customer for it. UNFAIR,UNFAIR"
